hey you— take a break from the comparison to others, and the fomo. let’s for a moment, appreciate your commitment, consistency, pushing past your own mental limits, crying alone through some of your hardest breakthroughs, and all the stuff you do behind the scenes. do you understand that it’s not easy to be your own unique coding in this world? even everyone’s version of “different” uses the same methods to grab other’s attention. if attention is the goal, congratulations, it’ll last you about five seconds before it’s being paid to someone else.
HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN WHY YOU’RE DOING THIS? you were born to do something with your pain, your story, your dreams, your hardships, and everything in between. you were born elevated yourself and others— your craft is part of that process.
a few years ago, this all seemed so far away to you. but look at you today— creating and achieving things that so much obstacle has tried to stop you from getting to where you are right now. I know, trust me.
you’re here. I’m here. the world tells you do more— I say, sit with it. the one who sprints, gets tired faster, but the one who paces themselves endures to the end.
