I haven’t run front or rear sway bar links in years. It’s a setup I’ve gotten really comfortable with, and I know my Jeep’s limits and tipping points.
That said, I know everyone’s preference is different.
What’s your setup?

• Front only
• Rear only
• No sway bars at all

Depends on your setup. Every vehicle is different, but in general... Coils: front and rear if possible. Rear only is alright. Coilovers: front and rear are a must, including limit straps and suckdown. ORI: none, or maybe a rear. It comes down to stability and traction. More stabile because it keeps the jeep from slow rocking side to side. Side-hilling manners are more predictable. Traction is a reality with the proper swaybars. The corners react to the movement of the other moving corners creating better contact. Can they limit flex? Sometimes, but it has been proven time and time again that better flex is achieved with proper swaybars used.

On my 4 door…no sway bars. On my 2 door…front antirock no rear. The 4 door is much more capable so it’s not a fair comparison but i prefer the no sway bar setup. Both are primarily trail rigs.

I’ve found putting a rear only typically works the best in a trail/street rig. You maintain control of your rig but letting the front “swing” freely while off-roading is a huge advantage not limiting and binding the suspension even more especially with mechanical steering. Your rig will see the most benefit from a rear as most weight is transferred to the rear axle when cornering, climbing, or off-camber technical crawling. I keep this philosophy for ORIs, Coil/Shock, and Coilovers.

TK1 in front, modified Antirock in back. For me stability is most important, and I think it helps with traction in a lot of scenarios. There isn't really a right answer though, it all comes down to setup and what's comfortable

I have @rockjock4x4 front and rear. I’ve done it without them. But I feel like the resistance both ways helps me feel my tires better. Without I feel like they just unload

I took the front and rear off my 4Runner it helped a lot however the open diff still sucks and outer edge of my wheels get shredded in my fender but it feels like a roller coaster which is fun

Front and rear @rockjock4x4 for me. Might have to play around with disconnecting trying new things next to trip!

I tried the ORIs without them and was very tippy. Played with pressure/ and still very unstable. Put a rear swaybar on, lowered the lower pressures back down on the ORIs and it rides amazing again and is so stable!

JK Antirock is too stiff with 44’s, might be ok with tons. I don’t run a front cause of that, but have thought about putting the TJ torsion bar on to see how that works

I’ve been running a @offroadonly_oro SwayLoc on the front of my rig for years and I absolutely love it. Feels a lot more stable in off camber situations.
