Everyone has a version of this decision sitting in front of them.
Mine just happened to involve a lot of steam. Was it scary? Absolutely. Still is some nights.
But I watched my grandma lose the ability to do everything she loved in her final years. And I learned the research showing it doesn’t have to go that way if people can actually afford the habits that change it.
