The Holier War

Been watching BYU cougar football every weekend with my dad for as long as I can remember, but this one was by far our favorite

No atmosphere like this

Still not sick of winning

Well…somehow this happened. 😂🥷
I’m incredibly excited to announce that I’ll be competing on American Ninja Warrior Season 20!

This season is helping build excitement for LA 2028, bringing together some incredible athletes and ninjas as we look ahead to the Olympics coming back to Los Angeles. As a lifelong athlete, I’m genuinely honored to be a small part of it.

And honestly, this is a little outside my comfort zone. I’ve spent most of my life training to be the best all around athlete I can -running, jumping, throwing and competing across ten events. I’ve only been to a ninja gym a handful of times.

But I’ve always loved opportunities that make you think, “I have no idea if I can do this…but I’m going to give it everything I’ve got.”

So here we are. Just arrived in Las Vegas and tonight this decathlete gets to try to become a ninja.

One goal: FIND THAT BUZZER

Let’s go. 🥷🇺🇸 by @j9walk

“Three locations in 18 months.” I said it to Avery a few months after Orem opened, and it’s been on repeat ever since—partly in desperation to leave my law firm, and long before we knew exactly how we’d pull it off.

Swipe through and you’ll see what those 18 months actually looked like. Julia was three months old when we opened Orem—that’s Avery holding her the day before we opened, tubs still being unpacked behind them. A couple slides later I’m holding her the day before Salt Lake opened. Now she’s between us cutting the ribbon at Fort Union with the Mayor of Midvale, weeks before her little brother arrives.

We built a business and a family at the same time. Avery carried both.

Seeing our members, friends, family, team, and the Mayor of Midvale show up to celebrate meant everything. We couldn’t do it without our family, friends, and this team. It might be my favorite design yet, and it’s the first with Löyly Littles on-site childcare so parents can recover too.

Grateful doesn’t cover it. ❤️‍🔥 #SaunaForThePeople by @j9walk

All the Finnishing touches for Fort Union are done! Saunas are calibrated. Tubs are dialed. Doors are open. We are locked in and ready to show the space off! DM me if you want to get a session in together soon. by @j9walk

Sauna for the People®. by @j9walk

Everyone has a version of this decision sitting in front of them.

Mine just happened to involve a lot of steam. Was it scary? Absolutely. Still is some nights.

But I watched my grandma lose the ability to do everything she loved in her final years. And I learned the research showing it doesn’t have to go that way if people can actually afford the habits that change it.

That’s who this place is really for. Not the wellness elite. Everyone.
The sleepless nights have been worth it. Come see what we have built.

📍 Orem · Downtown SLC · Fort Union soon

The price wasn't a business decision. It was a mission decision.

Affordable sauna means more frequent visits. More frequent visits mean better health outcomes.

That's why we'll always be Sauna for the People®.

Big news.

We’re expanding to The Shops at Fort Union—and this location will include something we’ve never offered before:

CHILDCARE.

Because taking care of yourself shouldn’t become harder once life gets busy.

This new space will bring the same intentional sauna experience you know us for—thoughtful heat, fresh airflow, abundant Löyly, and a place to truly reset—while making it more accessible for parents and families.

Founding memberships officially live.

Founding members receive:
• a lifetime rate lock
• no enrollment fee

This will be the best rate we offer.

Fort Union, we can’t wait to welcome you.
