⭐️ NEW MEM MONDAY ⭐️ Introducing Aomi! Aomi is a Sophomore from Riverside, CA! She is studying Global Health, with a minor in Juvenile Justice. Outside of Alpha Chi, she works as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Garfield Medical Center. She is also studying for her wellness coach license with USC’s School of Social Work! And she’s super into cooking and travel! Here’s Aomi’s why for joining Alpha Chi: “Growing up in Vietnam, I witnessed first hand the impacts of systemic patriarchy and domestic violence. Coming to USC as a non LA native student, I was searching for a purpose, but also a place to belong. I found both in Alpha Chi Omega. What made me stay with Alpha Chi is my dedication to help support domestic violence victims. There is absolutely no pressure to fit a certain mold here; instead, these girls celebrate and uplift everyone’s personal, niche identity. ❤️” Some fun facts about Aomi: 1. One of her biggest passions is studying the healthcare system and working to better it. 2. Her favorite way to spend her weekend is ordering food and watching movies with her friends! 3. Her favorite TV show is Criminal Minds or Private Practice! We are so lucky to have you in Alpha Chi, Aomi! 💓
American singer Mary Millben has alleged that US-based donors are funding Abhijeet Dipke and the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), claiming that they oppose PM Narendra Modi and his leadership. 🇺🇸🇮🇳 On October 14, amid protests in New Delhi demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists, Millben urged young Indians to organise and peacefully protest against what she called the “disruptive spirit” of CJP. 🔥 She further claimed that certain US donors follow a global pattern of targeting conservative leaders, allegedly supporting movements led by people educated in the US. However, these funding allegations have not been independently established, and they should be treated as claims rather than confirmed facts. Her statement has sparked fresh debate about foreign funding, political activism and transparency. Any concerns about external financial support should be examined through credible evidence, with accountability applying equally to every political organisation. 🇮🇳 . #yuvadope #marymillben #cockroachjantaparty #narendramodi
