Maxx, you were the most loyal companion. My best friend. The one I could always count on no matter what. You’ve been by my side through so many different seasons of life, and I could have never asked for a better dog than you.

I don’t know how I got so lucky to be your owner but I’m so thankful I did. You were always ready for a car ride, a pup cup, a road trip, a walk, anything. You loved everyone you met. You were so gentle, loving and patient. You knew how to make anyone smile, but especially me. You were there to comfort me whenever I was down and add extra smiles when I was happy. Your loving soul is what I’ll always love most about you. I truly don’t know what I’ll do without you.

9 1/2 years was not long enough but no time ever would’ve been enough with you, my sweet Maxxy boy. I am heartbroken, I’ll miss coming home to your wagging tail greeting me at the door, your excitement to go for a car ride, play with the toy, simply just lay on the couch with me, and so many other things. As long as you were with me you were happy, and I was happy too.
