One of my favorite things about this work is the community that comes with it (in-person + virtual)🤍
There is room for more than one doula. There is room for different personalities, different strengths, different experiences, and different women who are called to serve families.
We don’t have to compete with each other or fight for every client. The families we serve are all unique, and the right support person for one family may look different than the right support person for another.
Instead, we get to encourage each other, share resources, cheer each other on, and step in to help when another doula needs it.
Birth work is better when we choose collaboration over competition 🫶🏻☕️
