You don’t need 50 dry flies. You need five you understand.

A Parachute Adams, Elk Hair Caddis, Stimulator, Griffith’s Gnat, and Foam Beetle cover mayflies, caddis, rough water, midges, and summer terrestrials.

Watch the water, choose the closest match, and focus on a clean drift. If trout refuse it, check for drag before sizing down.

Which one never leaves your box?

I disagree. You only ever need 1 fly and that’s the Klinkhammer. It’s an emerger, a dry fly if you load it with floatant and when sunk it’s a nymph or a generic wet fly. I only have this fly in a range of 3 colours and 4 sizes and that’s it

Super illustrations. As a suggestion, multiple images allowing the viewer to scroll at their own pace would allow for better viewing and comprehension. Thanks!
