Moab 203.9 Race Recap. Unfinished Miles.
The hardest part of Moab 240 was the ending I never got to run.

It was beautiful, challenging, messy, and everything I love about ultrarunning. There were moments I felt absolutely wrecked, only to find myself running strong again miles later.

We had one HELL of a women's race. @ashkickn was absolutely crushing it. @brogansunemploymentworldtour told me at mile 96.5 she was going to quit, only to rally, share some miles, and then take off. Both inspired me to keep digging deeper. I was ready to throw everything I had into those final 42 miles. I wanted us to have the finish and race we'd been fighting for, both for the podium and the Triple Crown CR. At the end, we still had 3 women in the top 5.

Mother Nature had other plans. Nearly 200 miles in, conditions on Geyser Pass became legitimately dangerous. Falling trees, insane winds, hail, torrential downpour. I was told the race was canceled after I was almost blown off the ridge of the last big climb. I ended up pairing up with another runner and our pacers, bushwhacking ~9mi off the mountain because conditions were too dangerous for anything else. And just like that, the race was over.

HUGE shoutout to my incredible crew and pacers @ryanmiller34 @warnke168 @expat_mel @victoriaallenthebig3 You made this adventure what it was. I couldn't have asked for a better team to share this journey with.

Now I feel a mix of being grateful but also disappointed and a little empty. This was the culmination of a year spent chasing a dream. And with another round of cancer surveillance scans Friday, I was holding onto this finish as a little bit of closure before facing another unknown.
I started this Triple Crown to test what was possible, but also to prepare myself mentally and physically for whatever life has in store. I thought I'd walk away with answers. Instead, I'm walking away with more unknowns.

But the miles were real. The friendships are real. The joy, the grit, the ridiculous adventures, ALL real.
203 miles. No finish line. Just a whole lot of feelings I'm still figuring out.

And just like that, my Tamasha Season 5 journey comes to an end. ❤️‍🩹🥹

I may not be taking the trophy home, but I’m leaving with something far more precious — the love, respect, and countless prayers of people who stood by me throughout this journey. ❤️

Making it to the TOP 3 was a dream in itself, and Alhamdulillah, I made it this far. Every task, every challenge, every laugh, every emotional moment, and every connection will always hold a special place in my heart. This journey gave me memories I’ll cherish forever and people who made me feel loved in ways I can’t even put into words.

To everyone who voted for me, supported me, defended me, prayed for me, and believed in me even when things got tough — THANK YOU. You have no idea how much your love means to me. 🥹❤️ You made this journey worth every single second, and if I’ve won your hearts, then I believe I’ve already won something bigger than a trophy.

I entered Tamasha as a contestant, but I’m leaving with a family of supporters who have given me so much love beyond those four walls. And that is a win I will never take for granted. 🫶🏻

Signing off from Tamasha Season 5 with a heart full of gratitude. Alhamdulillah for everything. This is not a goodbye, just a see you soon. 🥹🤍

With love, always. ❤️‍🩹
