Good morning 🥰

After spending roughly 15 years locked inside a makeshift cage, a Filipino man named Oliver finally has a safe place to call home. His heartbreaking situation came to light in late 2025 when charity YouTuber Daddy Frankie discovered him living in terrible conditions. Oliver had reportedly been confined by his parents because of severe, untreated mental health issues that sometimes made him violent. After his parents died, he remained trapped, with one of his brothers occasionally bringing him food despite the family’s extreme poverty.

Daddy Frankie stepped in to help, cleaning Oliver, arranging a medical assessment and beginning the process of helping him regain a more humane life. After the rescue video attracted widespread attention, viewers and donors contributed money toward building him a proper home. In July 2026, about 10 months after his rescue, Oliver finally moved into his newly built house. His journey highlights how compassion, public support and access to proper care can help transform the life of someone who has endured years of neglect.
