To a Veteran and a Dear friend in need of help any lil bit will go a long way. God bless you in advance.
My name is Miguel Samol. I'm organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Shaneena Eddington, the wife of my close friend and colleague Nathan Robert Eddington — a decorated veteran who served this country with distinction, and a founding member of our organization's family. Every dollar raised goes directly to Neena. These are her words:
On Friday, July 11th, I lost my husband, Nathan Robert Eddington, suddenly and unexpectedly.
Nathan was my heart. He was my person. He gave me my fairy tale — with a twist, the way the best stories always come. He gave me my smile back. He saved my life, and he showed me what real love was. There is no preparing for a loss like this, and we've since learned that the benefits we believed were in place are not there.
I'm asking for help with the immediate, practical needs of laying Nathan to rest with the dignity he deserves:
Transporting him and our family home from Alabama
Burial and funeral home costs
A memorial service where the people who loved him can gather and say goodbye
Every dollar raised goes directly to these expenses. If anything remains beyond them, it will go toward settling his final affairs.
