Drag is a form of self expression and celebration and it’s an art that has been around for centuries.

Did you know: The first self-proclaimed drag queen was a Black formerly enslaved man - William Dorsey Swann. In the late 1880s, Swann started hosting private balls known as drags.

Drag has always been a powerful form of expression for our community, and it will continue to thrive as long as queer and trans people exist.
