Yesterday, we had the honour of attending the Soldiering On Awards Finalists' Reception at the House of Lords.

Nigel, Terry and Maisie met some incredible people and had inspiring conversations about mental health, the Armed Forces community and the power of connection.

We finished the day watching the England semi-final on the train. Although the result wasn't what we hoped for, sharing the moment with our Patron, former England captain Terry Butcher, made it one we'll always remember.

We're incredibly proud to share that Nigel Seaman has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Inspiration Award at the Armed Forces Community Awards 2026.

This is one of only two awards decided by a public vote, so we genuinely need your support.

Nigel founded Combat2Coffee after facing his own mental health battles following military service. Rather than allowing those struggles to define him, he turned them into a mission to support serving military personnel, veterans, their families, and anyone carrying invisible wounds.

Today, Combat2Coffee creates safe spaces in prisons, football stadiums, workplaces and communities where people can open up, find support and know they are not alone. Nigel's journey proves that something as simple as a cup of coffee can be the start of a life-saving conversation.

This vote isn't just about Nigel. If he wins, the message wins. It shines a national spotlight on those still fighting silent battles and reminds people that support is available and hope is never out of reach.

Voting is now OPEN, and the link to vote is in our bio.

Please take a minute to vote, then share this post with your colleagues, friends and family. Help us push this message further than ever. Your vote could help someone else find hope. ❤️☕
