Charles Leclerc finished fastest in Free Practice 1 ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, the Ferrari driver heading Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and team mate Lewis Hamilton. The Monegasque driver set a 1m 19.075s, leaving him half a second clear of Verstappen, before suffering an issue in the final 10 minutes which brought his Ferrari to a stop in the pit lane entry. Lewis Hamilton ended Friday’s running for the Hungarian Grand Prix on top, edging out his Ferrari team mate Charles Leclerc and McLaren’s Lando Norris in Free Practice 2. Ferrari showed that they’re currently the team to beat at the Hungaroring - Leclerc shot back to the top spot, posting a 1m 18.877s, and Hamilton slotted in just 0.037s behind. But the Briton wasn’t done yet as he cut his time down even more, opening up an advantage of more than a tenth over his team mate. With the focus then switching to long runs, his effort of 1m 18.729s remained the best of the day and he ended FP2 ahead of Leclerc and Norris. #hungariangp #charlesleclerc #lewishamilton #maxverstappen #landonorris
