POV: You buy the perfect area rug… then realize the floor vent has other plans. 😂
I may have measured once (or not at all), guessed twice, and hoped for the best, but we got there in the end. Sometimes DIY is less “Pinterest perfect” and more “trust the process.” 🙈
Would you cut your brand-new rug, or would you leave the vent covered?

I need to do this in my front entrance. Just haven’t found the rug I like yet.

Smart! I would find some sort of edging or binding to put on it though to help prevent fraying.
