A little flower made my Thursday feel special. 🌸💕
It’s been a super busy Thursday since morning. I was in full serious mode during work, and grabbed a quick soba lunch... 🍜
On my way home, I stopped by a flower shop and found this cute pink rose 🌹
Just a single flower, but decorating my room with it makes me feel surprisingly happy.
Thank you for your hard work today ☺️
Did you find any small moments of happiness today? 💕

My 4 yo has been deep in his crafting era ever since starting kindergarten, so I’ve been setting up little crafts for him to enjoy after school. This one was such an easy setup with open-ended materials and so much room for creativity 🎂🎨

I laid out a roll of paper, drew “plates” with a Sharpie, and glued down different kinds of printed cakes.

At the center of the table, I added sparkly washi tape, gem stickers, pastel pom-poms, candles, and our favorite @crayola Whipped Paint, which worked perfectly as the icing to hold all our decorative pieces together!

We sat and crafted together for over an hour, and it was just the kind of slow, creative connection we needed after a busy school day 😌

Optional: Cut out the finished cakes and hang them up as a sweet little keepsake 🖼️

Comment “CAKE” and I’ll send you all the materials you need to set this up 🔗🍰

A heavy day of history lessons called for a much-needed relaxing dip in the pool.

I did that 🥹🔥 I brought 500 men and women together for the #1 wealth creation and personal development event of the year @rewireyourmindrich and it was BEYOND anything I could have hoped for. Hundreds of lives were changed, tears were shed and many of you said it was the best conference you’ve ever attended. 8 months of blood sweat and tears with my team, employing 45 new people, managing contracts & dealing with unexpected issues all paid off. I created the room I wish somebody would’ve invited me into when I was a struggling single mom. This weekend filled my heart with a joy I can’t even put into words. I am so deeply proud of each and everyone of you for committing to your next level & it’s the owner of a lifetime to be the one to facilitate this transformation for you. Same time next year?? 🎉🎉🎉 @rewireyourmindrich

Celebrated Kirinyaga Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru and Kipipiri Member of Parliament Wanjiku Muhia exposes piles of hundreds of logs of trees which have been felled in Aberdare Forest hours after obtaining a court order temporarily stopping logging at the ranges. Argues that the cutting of the trees is an attempt by people in government to degrade Mt Kenya ecosystem and make it unfavourable for agriculture.
