Maxx Crosby is once again generating buzz among fans after the Bears traded for Jeffery Simmons, but the Raiders would reportedly demand at least two 1st-round picks, per Jason La Canfora. La Canfora reported that an NFL GM believes the Raiders wouldn't accept anything less than two first-round picks for Crosby. He also noted that there's no indication the Raiders are actively shopping Crosby, but that hasn't stopped fans from speculating following the Simmons trade. The Raiders are sitting at 3-4 after starting the year with 3 straight wins and face the Jets, 49ers, Seahawks, and Broncos in their next 4 games. For the Raiders to even consider trading Crosby, it would likely take a massive haul, and if the losing streak continues. Do you think it's time for the Raiders to part with Maxx? 👇

Marigold Season at the Estate brings a collision of emotions from several directions at once. From the south, in Mexico, comes Día de los Muertos, when our friends begin making ofrendas and laying down Marigold petals so the dead can find their way home. Almost in the same breath comes Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, celebrating the triumph of light over darkness. And laid over all of it is Halloween. At the heart of these celebrations is LOVE. For the family and friends who are still with us, and those we miss terribly. Every year at Flamingo Estate, we make an ofrenda with Marigolds. We made this one a few years ago, photographed here with my two beloved dogs, Freeway and Daylesford. Both left us this year, after spending almost sixteen years by our sides. Looking at these photographs now, I can hardly believe they’re both gone. This weekend, I’ll be lighting candles, laying down Marigolds, and leaving a few Greenies for them, hoping with all my heart that they find their way home. x Richard
