Over the weekend, We exhibited select eliEman pieces at @vvslagos VVS Future Labs.
What stayed with me the most, beyond people interacting with the clothes, was the conversations we had. We spoke about what our clothing might look like if we had never been colonized, about the future of African fashion and what it would take to design from our materials, for our way of life.
There’s something different about having these conversations in person. People touch the garments, ask questions, try out pieces, and experience the brand beyond a screen.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our installation, shared their thoughts, and became part of the conversation.
And thank you to @vvslagos VVS Lagos and the British Council @ngbritish for the opportunity to be part of

This is a noble idea? However do you have a catalogue of dynamic strategy to sustain production at a scale that will meet demand and costs imperatives and implications? Bright idea!!! You really don't need all these parasites you guys call celebrities to make this a flash in the pan.
