one of the most common concerns I hear when it comes to miracle knots is the risk of damage. this is why I choose the crochet method instead of the traditional knotting method. my goal is to create a secure install while putting the health of your natural hair first.

while both the traditional knotting method and the crochet method can create a beautiful, long-lasting result, the way the extensions are attached makes a difference when trying to protect your hair.

the knotting method relies on several tight knots to secure each extension. when those knots are tied too tightly or aren’t removed properly, they can create excess tension on the natural hair. the crochet method minimizes that by creating a secure attachment without relying on multiple tight knots.

with the crochet method, the extension is gently crocheted onto the anchor braid, this creates an even distribution of tension along the braid rather than putting stress on individual strands.

miracle knots are a great option for those who love the look of boho knotless braids, but are looking for a more lightweight option😊
