God knows your battles. Your heart knows your strength. The work does the rest. Be a warrior. 👊🦾
Your childhood toys had more detail than you probably remember. 😳🧸 Remember when toys were packed with tiny details, moving parts, and accessories that made them feel special? Look at these comparisons from the past to 2026. The difference is hard to ignore. Green toy soldiers once had detailed uniforms, helmets, and realistic rifles. Now, some versions look much simpler. Toy trains went from intricate wheels and mechanical parts to basic plastic designs. Even transforming robots and military action figures show a noticeable difference. Remember opening a video game case and finding a disc, instruction booklet, and sometimes even a giant map? Today, some physical editions come with little more than a download code. From burger toys and surprise capsule figures to water guns, these examples show how much the designs have changed. Of course, not every modern toy is less detailed. But seeing these older and newer examples side by side really makes you appreciate the little things. Which one surprised you the most? And what childhood toy do you wish they still made like they used to? 👀 Save this for a little nostalgia, and share it with someone who grew up playing with these classics! #vintagetoys #toyevolution #toycollectors #childhoodtoys #nostalgictoys
The siège d’amour, or “love chair,” is a custom piece of er*tic furniture crafted in 1890 by the Parisian furniture manufacturer Soubrier for the playboy Prince of Wales, who later became King Edward VII. Known for his hedonistic lifestyle and frequent visits to the luxurious Parisian brothel Le Chabanais, the Prince, affectionately called “Bertie”, faced a practical dilemma due to his lavish dining habits and rapidly expanding waistline. Weighing nearly 240 pounds, he needed a solution that would allow him to indulge in intimate encounters without risking physical strain or accidentally crushing his female companions. Soubrier solved this with a bespoke, dual-tiered wooden chair equipped with plush leather padding, ornate brass stirrups, and strategically placed handles designed to offer stability and support during s*xual encounters. The chair’s unique engineering featured an upper level designed to support a partner in a reclined position, alongside a lower kneeling platform that enabled multiple position options or simultaneous encounters with more than one partner. By distributing weight through its sturdy frame, the device essentially served as an early ergonomic s*x aid tailored to royal proportions. Today, the original siège d’amour remains in the private collection of the Soubrier family, while replicas displayed in locations such as the S*x Machines Museum in Prague continue to fascinate visitors as a testament to fin-de-siècle aristocratic decadence. #EdwardVII #RoyalHistory #StrangeHistory #HistoricalCuriosities
