↪️ Meet the Artists of TBA 2026
Nanibah “Nani” Chacon is a Diné and Chicana artist whose practice spans murals, painting, and public art. Her work explores relationships between people, place, and land, often centering Indigenous knowledge, community, and connection.
Through large-scale works and storytelling, Chacon creates pieces that reflect on cultural histories, identity, and the ways stories are carried across generations and landscapes.
Chacon’s work has been presented in public spaces, institutions, and exhibitions internationally. Her practice continues to expand conversations around representation, visibility, and the role of art within shared spaces.
At the 2026 Biennial, Nanibah “Nani” Chacon will present a new work commissioned by the Toronto Biennial of Art and made possible with the generous support of the Women Leading Initiative.
