Next Wednesday, July 22 at 6:30 pm, MANISHA and her band will take the stage at Magnuson Park Amphitheater!
Filipina-Indian artist MANISHA writes for lovers of lyrics and overthinkers of love. Much like her multicultural background, her music is a melting pot of influences from jazz and pop to musical theater. At 17, she migrated from Manila, Philippines, to Seattle, Washington, where she had the opportunity to turn her passion for music into a full-time career. She attended and graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she wrote, recorded, and released her debut album Sweet Until The Aftertaste. Since college, MANISHA has moved back to Seattle, playing shows at legendary local venues such as Barboza and The Crocodile. MANISHA aims to create community through her music—one that celebrates the quirky intersectionalities in all of us.
The show will start right on time with an opening set from Zhanea (@zhaneanaomi) with The Residency.
