John Lewis was a giant, a dear friend, and one of the greatest moral leaders our nation has ever known. He dedicated every day of his life to confronting injustice, fighting racism, and giving hope to everyone who walked beside him. He showed us what it means to live with courage, conviction, and compassion.
At a time when speaking truth to power is more important than ever, we should continue to follow his example and remember his enduring words: “Stand up, speak out, and keep your eyes on the prize.”
