Binghamton University Students for Justice in Palestine held its “Vigil for Gaza” on Oct. 7 to remember the lives lost in Gaza over the past three years.

The vigil, held in collaboration with the Yiddish Bund of Binghamton, the BU Feminist Collective, the BU chapter of the Remedy Project, P.U.L.S.E. and BU Young Democratic Socialists of America, is part of the SJP’s “Week of Solidarity.” The vigil was held to “honor the countless victims murdered since October 7th 2023,” according to an Instagram post made by SJP. Representatives from the Latin American Student Union, SHADES and the Arab Cultural Student Association also spoke at the event.

After participants chalked messages on the Spine, the vigil began with a speech from a member of SJP.

**WE DO NOT CONDONE BULLYING OR VIOLENCE**

Oldest Indo-European Hero: Trito
