Ultimate Sacrifice is out and it’s stacked full of mighty riffs! 💪 This one right before the solo section has got to be my favourite, it’s a reference to the riff in Hollywood Hootsman but it’s EVIL, much like The Hootsman himself now he’s been possessed by the elder god Kor-Virliath.

For the solo section itself I had some interesting chord changes to work around, but I was determined to make it into something melodic and memorable rather than all-out shred (don’t worry - there’s plenty of that to come!) so I carved out this dual harmony part. As the section comes to a screeching halt, the final bend is supposed to sound like a car slamming the brakes on! Great Scott!! 💥
