Okay, so this isn’t a sunset, it’s a sunrise, but the colours are the same, so it works for me! This Embraer 175, painted in the old Continental-style livery, flew into ORD on the morning of June 27.
The aircraft, N167SY, is a 2016-built Embraer E175LR operated by SkyWest Airlines under the United Express brand.
I had to dig deep into my files for this one. After being heavily biased towards cool airlines and widebodies (and CRJs), I decided it was time to give the Embraers some love. The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer actually makes some pretty cool aircraft… just not the CRJ 🤷
