i spent yeaaaaaars making paintings just to stack them against the wall of my studio— i kept telling myself i wasn’t ready to let them go. but keeping them started to feel a lot like keeping my mouth shut, which, historically speaking, i’m not very good at. lol.

so i’m done hoarding them; art isn’t supposed to live and die with the artist. it’s supposed to leave.
