✧ Swamp Banksia ✧
We have been discovering this Banksia variety a lot recently. We have seen it in coastal areas along the east coast growing so well in quite damp ground amongst the reeds. Their bold leaves and chunky flower spikes stood out straight away.
We came across them again recently when trying to find Australian plants that can handle wet feet for periods of seasonal rain where the ground in a particular spot might stay wet for a while. We wanted to share them with you all, so that some of you might be able to discover this incredible species for yourselves and see natures finest symmetry!

Banksias are so beautiful, incredible form and colour, and they really shine thru the cooler months in Melbourne 💛
