Meet LASS-E: a robot dog helping inspect gas pipelines 🤖
Earlier this month, our Kiwa Netherlands team welcomed Saxion University of Applied Sciences and Alliander Research Center for Digital Technologies to our test site in Apeldoorn. Together, we tested new developments with robot dog LASS-E, a project designed to support technicians inspecting underground gas pipelines.
LASS-E can detect gas leaks, helping make checks faster, more efficient and safer. By using our test site, the team were able to test these developments in a realistic environment, bringing the technology one step closer to practical use in the field.
A great example of how innovation and collaboration help solve real challenges in infrastructure ✅
