Two years later… and I’d choose this life all over again. ❤️✈️

Two years ago, I walked into six weeks of intense training with a dream, determination, and no idea how much my life would change.
This career has brought blood, sweat, tears, early mornings, long days, and plenty of challenges. There were moments I was exhausted and unsure, but I kept showing up. Through it all, God kept making a way and reminding me I was exactly where I was meant to be.
Now here I am, two years later.
I’ve traveled the world, made lifelong memories, met incredible people, and helped my family experience things we once only dreamed of. I’ve grown so much personally and spiritually in ways I never expected.
And if I’m being real, this job has changed my life beyond travel. As a young woman in her 20s, I was able to get my own apartment and I’m now preparing to buy my first car. Nothing about this journey has been easy, but God has always provided. This job opened doors, but God gave me the strength to walk through them.
A special shoutout to my Emerald family today is your anniversary too. We made it through those six weeks together and I’m so proud of each of you. 💚
I also want to thank our instructors. Thank you for your patience, guidance, encouragement, and for pouring so much into us during training. The lessons you taught us continue to travel with us every day we step onto an aircraft. Your impact reaches far beyond those six weeks.
Most importantly, thank You, God. Every opportunity, every destination, every safe landing, every friendship, every lesson, and every blessing has been because of You. When I doubted myself, You gave me strength. When I felt overwhelmed, You gave me peace. When doors opened, it was Your favor. When challenges came, it was Your grace that carried me through.
To my American Airlines family, thank you for the memories, lessons, and love along the way. I still love this job just as much as day one.
We did it, Joe… actually, God did. ❤️
Two years down. So many more adventures to go.
