Tranmire Cottage, Lastingham

We aren’t suffering too much up in North Yorkshire… yes it’s a bit too balmy outside, but these thick stone walls keep the house and cottage nicely temperate. We haven’t even dug out a fan yet! Though of course it is far to hot to walk Henry, and he does get a little agitated without exercise. So we head down to Sinnington for a dip in the clear waters of the River Seven which flow out of Rosedale through this beautiful village. A few dozen ball throws later and we have one aching arm and one tired dog! So this is somewhere we recommend to all our guests with dogs when the mercury rises! #hotdog #yorkshireholidaycottage
