Australian gaming journalist and reviewer Alanah Pearce went viral for tracking down the mothers of young boys who sent her r*pe threats online. While working as a reviewer and radio host, Pearce routinely faced severe misogynistic harassment and violent threats on social media. Upon realizing that a significant number of these anonymous trolls were actually young, school-aged boys, she decided that trying to reason with them rationally was useless.
