I knew from our first date 30 years ago that you’d be an amazing father. I know it’s not easy, it’s the hardest job you’ve ever had and you are doing a killer job. You’ve never had a day without Fin by your side. You make late night and early morning coffee with your eyes closed and you can bring the calm to the storm. Although Fin gives you a run for your money day in and day out and gives you greys where the red hair used to be, he looks up to you and I couldn’t think of a better path for him to follow. Here’s to less sleep, more coffee, stress beyond measure, raising a strong willed kiddo without a break or a village, listening to relentless history facts and giving advice that goes in one ear and out the other, answering those deep and uncomfortable questions, adapting daily to fit your boy’s mold, listening to calm parenting podcasts like it’s your side gig, wondering what the future holds for him, long days and extra early mornings…you’re our favorite artist, our personal chef, our computer tech and our down for anything sidekick and life is quite the adventure with you by our sides. ☀️🌿 We sure hope everyone out there had a beautiful Father’s Day!!
