As I mentioned before, I never studied interior design, but I have a pretty good imagination. I can picture exactly how I want an apartment to look and then bring that vision to lifeš
After my very first renovation, which I did with a contractor, I realized that they can overcharge you a lot. And honestly, if you have enough time and youāre interested in the process, you donāt really need one. So I started doing everything myselfš
I found the workers, knew where to order the curtains, the kitchen, and the furniture, and explained exactly what I wanted. They made the drawings from my words, and I chose everything - the fabrics, the colors, and sometimes I brought things from other countries. I genuinely enjoy this whole process.
When I renovated this apartment, I didnāt think Iād live here for very long because itās in a very busy area. Sometimes itās great - you walk outside and thereās a shopping mall, restaurants, and all the city life around you. But after a while, you naturally start wanting more peace, nature, and privacy.
The apartment had already been rented out before, but now itās rented for two to three times more. Of course, it depends on the season. Because right now thereās still a war in Ukraine, and during winter there have been heating issues, but the residents of the building came together and solved the problem themselvesšš»
I wouldnāt say this renovation was very expensive, but I really love this apartment for its simplicity, coziness, natural light, and beige tones. I think itās a big achievement for me because I designed everything myself - without 3D renderings or anything like that. I simply imagined the final result and carefully chose the furniture and all the details.
I really love this kitchen and the large curtains that perfectly suit the 3.5 meter ceilings. And Iām genuinely happy with how everything turned outš„°
What makes me happiest is that people enjoy living here and they stay for a long time. It means I managed to create a home where people truly want to live. And I think thatās probably the biggest reward!š”
