$Breaking News from The Inkridden Tribune 📰🕯️ We’d like to unveil the covers and slipcase for The Letters of Enchantment Special Edition Box Set Featuring Wild Reverence! When we read Divine Rivals, Ruthless Vows, and Wild Reverence, we entered a world we never wanted to leave and met characters like Iris and Matilda who reflected pieces of our hearts. @beccajross lyrical prose builds an atmosphere that settles in your bones. We hoped to capture just a fraction of that feeling in the designs for our covers and slipcase. Artist @ameliarose.jpg hand-painted elements of the slipcase, and every bit of intentionality comes together to create something we can’t stop staring at. Jeffrey Manchester, known as “Roofman,” spent six months secretly living inside a Toys “R” Us store in Charlotte, North Carolina, after escaping prison in 2004. The army veteran built a hidden room behind a wall, watched employees through baby monitors, rode bicycles through the empty aisles at night, raced remote control cars on the roof, and survived on stolen baby food and candy. He even altered employees’ work schedules using the store’s computer system to help keep his hiding place secret.

While living inside the store, Manchester joined a local church and donated stolen toys to children, all while dating a woman under a fake identity and claiming he had a secret government job. When the holiday shopping season made his hiding place less secure, he created another secret living space in an abandoned store next door. His bizarre double life finally unravelled in January 2005 after he robbed the same Toys “R” Us where he had been hiding, allowing police to discover his secret lair and track him down.
