Fluidity: Ashland Ecstatic Dance

ANNOUNCING: 6.30::

🦋 RA SO 🦋

Bass, Depth & Beauty ~

A Ra So set is a journey through the archetypes of human consciousness, peppered with subtlety and meaning… at once, touching the eternal and embracing the humanity that lies within every heart.

A dancer for almost 17 years before he began DJ-ing and producing music, he spent years seeking out the best live music he could find, traveling far and wide to explore the relationship between music and the dance. This eventually led him to Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms work; working with Anna Halprin; and forming his own dance theater company in San Francisco in 2005.

Using a sixth-sense for melody, contemporary technology and a knack for the patient, anthemic build, Ra So mines ancient ideas, harnesses tear-jerking melodies, and through pulsating rhythms, he brings depth to the dance, empowering dreamers, lovers and dancers with soundwaves reverberating with emotion.

Expect a journey through many layers, genres and tempos. And prepare to be engaged through mind, body and spirit in waves of rhythm and bass, harmony and melody, and auditory love…

Really looking forward to welcoming this very well-versed ecstatic dance DJ to Ashland this coming Tuesday!
