We are looking forward to having Dimah from Mount Shasta back to share a set with Fluidity! Dimah’s set this coming Tuesday will feature an opening and closing live sound weaving from Willow River 🌿 And come early for cacao, included with your dance!

Dimah is a DJ, producer, and designer. Along with other musician friends he crafts immersive musical experiences — each unfolding like a cinematic journey, guiding dancers through inception, transformation, and arrival.

Dimah seamlessly fuses different genres such as ethnic and organic house/techno, bass, trance, ambient and worship/ spiritual songs.

We will be dancing in the Casbah this week! Come on out and shake off what no longer serves you ~

Reclaim Your Energy
with Amy Lee

Use this somatic workshop to clear and reclaim your energy before we dance. Together, we’ll move through four practices: clearing your energetic field, setting energetic boundaries, sourcing your power from the infinite well within, and recognizing and beginning to heal any energy leaks. You’ll learn to feel the exact moment your energy leaks in an interaction or dynamic, and what it’s like to be fully self-sourced instead. Then carry that clear, grounded, potent presence onto the dance floor, present, calm, and confident in your own energy.

The dance floor is a peak experience: powerful, alive, real. The practice you build in this hour is how you get back to that clear, sourced state on your own, any day, not just on the dance floor. The Soul Evolution Method teaches energetic sovereignty, holding energetic boundaries and self-sourcing your energy instead of pulling it from the people around you. Through practice, you repattern your energy in your body and in your relationships. Our relationship to ourselves and to all things is what creates our experience of the world.

Amy Lee is the founder of the Soul Evolution Method, grounded spirituality for sensitive souls built on somatics, energetics, nature, and neuroplasticity. She teaches the same work that transformed her own health and life.

✨ YOHM ✨

Yohm began the journey as a DJ in the year 2000 playing vinyl reggae, funk and hip hop records. Over the years his sound has evolved into a blend of world influenced fusion beats with thick bass drops. Known for playing remixes of classic tunes and medicine bass, with an ability to adapt his sound to fit most dance floors.

Yohm (pronounced like Yo and Ohm) is a combination of Yosef’s birthname and one of the most healing sounds on Earth.

Yohm has shared the stage with Desert Dwellers, Clozee, Kalya Scintilla, Bluetech, Phaeleh, Charles the First, Deya Dova and many others. He has also rocked sets at many festivals including Lightning in a Bottle, Enchanted Forest, Lucidity, and Symbiosis.

With a sharp focus on clean mixing and composing a journey through different genres, Yohm’s energetic sets keep the crowd engaged and satiated for hours.

with Patches

Authentic relating games invite us to express present-moment truths, drop our pretenses, and build connection through partnered or group exercises.

We return to the old ways of relating as the medicine for our disconnected world, building bonds beyond the dance floor. ✨

Patches has been facilitating Authentic Relating since 2018, helping strangers crack open the armor they didn’t know they were wearing.

This workshop has shared agreements established in the beginning. If you show up after the opening, you may need to wait until the 2nd exercise starts to participate. 🙏

SOMATIC WORKSHOP: 9.8::

“Fluid Friction” ~ Exploring Elemental Dynamics Through Dance with Aurora Quinn

As the rains come pouring down upon the thirsty earth, we bring our devotional attention to the alchemy of water and stone, flow and constriction and the precious tension we find buzzing between the two… fluid friction.

Professional dancer-actor Aurora Quinn will lead a playful taster workshop in some foundational textures of dance as a storytelling medium. We will explore pathways of energy and expression in our bodies by stretching our imaginations as we stretch our muscles. Then we will practice traveling through space while letting these elemental forces guide us.

When we strengthen the mind-body connection and feel safe to experiment, there is no limit to what we might discover in our own body on the dance floor.

With training in physical theatre, hip hop, modern dance, contact improv, and Butoh, Aurora thrives in the liminal space between boundaries. She is excited to share some of her medicine this Tuesday.

Come play, and let our bodies be art in motion!
