Lulu Limones 🍋

This is my favorite tattoo. First started with her name then with her portrait. I can’t think of a time or a day where her music didn’t play in mind or fill in all the corners of all my safe spaces. In every stage of my life a song resonated.

This one song in particular lately has been on replay over and over. The beauty of music, art and poetry is that we can all see and hear the same thing but interpret it differently. Falling in love with myself, life’s struggles, places, people, energies, manifestations, hopes and desires. Taking a chance, all while wholeheartedly hoping and praying the risk and struggle is worth it in the end. Even when the odds are stacked against you.
