It's soccer, it's baseball, it's every youth sport in American these days. Landon is SPOT ON with targeting the incentive structures. Charlie Munger said it best; "show me the incentive and I'll show you the outcome"

WE NEED A SOCCER REVOLUTION IN THE USA. What I am about to say pertains to both the women and men. I have been saying this for the past 55 years. We have no visionary system in place that can develop warriors. What’s in place is a helter skeltor, pay to to play model, that’s no more than a bad Ponzi scheme approach that helps make nice kids. We have No flair, no style, no creativity, no genius, no elegance, no beauty and no spectacular.. We play one dimensional, robotic, boring football. Coaching is totally over rated. MJ, Pistal Pete, Connie Hawk, Byrd, Magic Johnson. and other magical BB players became magical by playing and not doing drills. WE NEED RADICAL CHANGE! WE NEED UNORTHODOX VISIONARY LEADERSHIP. WE NEED A SOCCER REVOLUTION. WE NEED A 21ST CENTURY MASTER PLAN. WE NEED TO CREATE THE USONIAN WAY. WE NEED TO CREATE A NEW SPARTA! But first We need 600,000 futsal courts so kids can play king/Queen of the court, 24/7/365, for free and no adult interference. Futsal can become our version of streetball. We need a Rucker’s Park soccer environment. We need to create Courts of Dreams. You build them. They will come https://youtu.be/M7JBcu0MzvI - [ ]
