Zack Browning Elected Managing Member of MetaTwo Enterprises LLC, Announces Vision for the Future of MetaZoo
June 25, 2026 - MetaTwo Enterprises LLC is pleased to announce the election of Zack Browning to the position of Managing Member, succeeding Charlie Hurlocker. As Managing Member, Browning will steward the MetaZoo intellectual property, helping write the next chapter of the trading card game franchise.
In 2024 MetaTwo Enterprises acquired the MetaZoo IP following bankruptcy and licensed the trademark to GameQbator Labs (GQL). GQL revitalized the franchise and released three successful expansions: Base Set, Torrential Tides, and Secret Shadows, selling millions of booster packs worldwide.
Under the licensing partnership, GQL expanded the artistic scope of MetaZoo, commissioning more original artwork than the franchise’s original ownership group and elevating the game’s visual presentation. GQL’s approach to design emphasized high-quality products with premium artwork and engaging gameplay.
MetaTwo Enterprises, led by Browning, plans to build upon the strong foundation established through the GQL partnership by launching organized play, increasing collector engagement, creating more immersive artwork, and sharing the legends of casters and cryptids that make MetaZoo unique.

I was around from the beginning when they were on kickstarter I know all the lore and probably sold more Metazoo than any other LGS in 2021 through a distributor was around 92.3k in presales for nightfall I remember all the drama and patreon disaster I think I still have a booster case from when the hired a proxy company to print the cards and they printed extra for themselves to sell
