About this past weekend...(coach side)
Gracie Berlin went to the IBJJF Munich Open with 22 competitors, and we got 8 🥇 6🥈5 🥉 in the Gi, and 9🥇6🥈1🥉in the NoGi. With those results we placed 4th overall in the Gi, and 2nd overall in the NoGi.
We've had many amazing competition trips, but this one was special. It was our first IBJJF tournament in Germany in a long time, and the team made a huge statement.
Not only with impressive performances and results, but also constant support.
On a personal level, I am incredibly happy with this weekend. I had a blast competing along side my students, and some of their performances and results really made me emotional. Plus, it was my first time stepping on a IBJJF podium as a trainer, which was a major goal of mine for a while.
A lot of this has to do with the incredible work of our coaches, who put a lot of work on the classes, do a great job coaching students in the tournaments, and also put on a show competing. We are very fortunate to have those amazing ppl on our side.
It was amazing, and the whole team deserves every praise possible. Congrats to everyone, and let's go for more!
