We had some days of team camp @fdj_suez at the @redbull HQ and this was an experience to remember forever! 🪽

Physically I’m in South Africa, mentally I’m at @jis_show Miami!!!

Swipe to enjoy some of my @jis_show discoveries, from the beautiful jewelry of @goldenstoneusa to the diamond bracelets of @theparamountgems and the colorful gemstone jewels of @viannabrasilofficial , it’s all waiting for you at @jis_show , opening today at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

JIS is one of the jewelry industry’s key events -
as one of the last major jewelry buying opportunities before the holidays, the show offers a great opportunity to explore emerging jewelry trends, discover new collections, and meet the people behind the brands. It’s a wonderful story about Miami’s role as a global jewelry gateway, connecting the U.S. with Latin American, Caribbean, and cruise retail markets. And it’s in beautiful Miami, my home town!

the captain asked me what I was doing and I said stretching and he said that is not stretching that is a full handstand against a Boeing and I said darling when you’ve been in six inch heels for nine hours you do whatever your body tells you to do and right now my body is telling me to go upside down on a tarmac in the sunshine and honestly I have never felt more alive... there’s something about being outside the aircraft that changes everything, like the moment you step onto that concrete and the sun hits your face and the engines are quiet and you remember oh right I’m a person with a body that does things other than push a trolley and smile at men who think “sparkling” is a personality trait... I started doing yoga about two years ago after my back gave me an ultimatum and the doctor said you need to stop wearing those heels and I laughed so hard he actually wrote it down in my notes as “non-compliant” which is the most accurate medical term anyone has ever used to describe me... the crew think I’m mad because I’ll just find a patch of tarmac between flights and stretch like a cat who’s been sleeping in a suitcase and James once took a photo of me holding my leg above my head and sent it to the group chat with the caption “this is not normal behaviour” and Sarah replied “let her live James” which is why Sarah is my favourite... the thing is when you spend your whole life being looked at in a cabin you forget what it feels like to move for yourself, not for service not for passengers not for the seatbelt sign just for you and your muscles and the sunshine and the weird satisfaction of being upside down next to a plane worth more than everything I will ever own combined... do you have a thing you do that people think is mad but actually keeps you completely sane because I want to hear about it 😏🖤

Never give up. 諦めないで.

Asian Games 2026 Gold medalist Yui SUSAKI never did.

I first met Yui a few years ago, during her training camp in France ahead of the 2024 Olympics. Despite her incredible wrestling record, she was approachable, always smiling and welcoming to everyone.

A year later, we met again, first to document her training at her gym in Tokyo, then in Normandy for the NWC. No matter the occasion, she always welcomed me with her unique energy and warmth.

An amazing human being behind the athlete. I’m so honoured to have had her as a friend throughout these years.

After she missed out on Olympic gold, I honestly didn’t know how she would react, given how untouchable her record had seemed until then. But she handled it with grace, and got straight back to work.

Such an example of resilience for us all.

Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win. But what matters most is this:

Trust the process and embrace the grind, no matter what.

I was so honoured to witness her compete at the Asian Games in Japan this year and bring home the gold medal.

Thank you for reminding us all to :

Never give up.

諦めないで。
