The Police Lock That Students Easily Defeated 🚔

What was supposed to be an unremovable parking enforcement device... was defeated by college students in just 48 hours. 🚔🤯
The Barnacle sticks to a car's windshield using powerful suction, blocking the driver's view until the parking fine is paid.
But students at the University of Oklahoma quickly discovered surprising weaknesses.
One found that running the car's defroster for several minutes weakened the suction enough to help remove it.
Another discovered that aluminum foil could interfere with its GPS tracking.
And the biggest surprise? 😳
A student reportedly found a SIM card inside the device and used its data connection, exposing a major security flaw.
The result? Authorities had to rethink and improve the entire system.
💬 Do you think this device is a smart idea, or was it bound to be defeated?
