A lot of magic has been happening behind the scenes that I’ve had to keep under wraps. Growing in new ways as a storyteller. Collaborating with some incredibly inspiring artists. Entering a new chapter. Something exciting may be revealed soon…
Which surah mentions Allah in every single verse? 🤍 Surah Al-Mujadilah (58). It begins with a woman, Khawlah bint Tha’labah, who came to the Prophet ﷺ with a complaint about her husband. She argued her case, and she complained to Allah. And Allah answered from above the heavens: قَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّتِي تُجَادِلُكَ فِي زَوْجِهَا وَتَشْتَكِي إِلَى اللَّهِ “Certainly has Allah heard the speech of the one who argues with you concerning her husband and directs her complaint to Allah.” (58:1) Aishah was in the same room, yet some of the woman’s words were hidden from her. Allah heard every one of them. Then look at the whole surah: 22 verses, and the name of Allah in every single one. It is the only surah in the Qur’an like this. A surah that opens with a woman being heard never lets a verse pass without Him. When you feel unheard, start where she started. 🤲 💬 Comment “heard” and we’ll send you the full reflection, free. 📩 Send this to someone who needs to know they are heard.
Sepakat guys?
Today was Eden’s Aqiqah - a day after his 2 month birthday. So grateful to have had everyone there 🫶🏼 The afternoon was beautiful with a short tahlil and speech from my dad honouring my late grandmother. Her absence was definitely felt. We miss you so much, Tok. Thank you for lending us your special golden scissors before you passed. 🕊️ The festivities ended with a grand meal with the kambing that Ezran sembelih yesterday 🥹 we’re truly blessed 🤲🏼 Baju by: @aliabastamamkl Makeup by: @norianathefacedesigner
