In what has to be the dumbest series of events that I will blame on the heat, I'll just truncate the story and say I came across this softshell NATIVE turtle.
I introduced her to the dulcet tunes of 50cent (I'm Supposed to Die Tonight) which I'm very glad she didn't take as a threat, then when attempting to call the office because I thought she was an invasive species, my phone SO HELPFULLY called an entry I had from the pandemic online shows (isthatAkira I'm so sorry) where I sent him a snake pic and then sent an apology for the ambiguous text indicating it could potentially be something other than a snake. (It was a hognose)

And ahahahahah no I definitely did not alien abduct her. Only pictures taken. See? That last pic is her sliding back home, where she came from. 😶‍🌫️
