“Between Frequencies”explores the space between personal solitude and human connection choreographed by @mayudance157 .

“Between Frequencies I: Calling”
inspired by the 52 Hz whale, was performed by @carlponce_cubero and @iandebono at INVENTS 2026, presented by @obremski_works this past March.

“Between Frequencies II: Listening”
was inspired by Japanese wind chimes”Furin”. The creation process began this past February with @ryumihoryu and @iandebono , but was postponed due to Miho's medical treatment.
This version created based on this idea and performed by @iandebono and @mayudance157 for this fundraiser performance.

This work begins with the recognition that every person's experience is ultimately their own. No one can fully know another's pain, fear, or uncertainty. Yet even within that distance, we can choose to remain present.

“Between Frequencies II: Listening” is not about saying, "I understand."

It is about saying, “I may never fully understand, but I'm here with you."

You may be alone in your experience, but you do not have to face it entirely alone.
