🆔@negarestanparvaz
“Please uninstall app if you don’t agree.” That’s the message Dexcom showed people who depend on its app to see their glucose readings. Dexcom has since clarified that users can opt out of certain provisions, including arbitration, by emailing its legal department—and continue using the app. Then why wasn’t that choice clear in the original notification? Someone opening their app because they feel low should not have to decipher a legal agreement before seeing their blood sugar. Managing diabetes already asks enough of us. Dexcom: explain the changes clearly, make applicable opt-outs easy to find within the app, and keep glucose readings accessible while people review their choices. This needs to be corrected now. Patient safety comes first. #Dexcom #DexcomG7 #Type1Diabetes #PatientSafety #DiabetesNerd
Only 8% of the 54,000 Chicago marathon finishers negative split the race. For years I’ve been after a sub 2:50 marathon…I came through half way in 1:25:49. It was going to take everything as the day heat up. Danced on the razors edge the last 10 miles. 2:49:23
