You may have noticed a new bag on our retail shelves ~ allow us to officially introduce you to our new guest roaster @rakercoffee ☕️
In 2020 , three Philly friends - Liam, Eddie, and Dan - set out to build a roasting company focused on building relationships while making coffee approachable + sustainable.
They roast daily out of Kensington + operate a small farm in the Talamanca mountains of Panama! This opportunity keeps them passionate about forging partnerships with growers that are focused on making their coffee shine, and with minimal disruption to the Earth.
An extra benefit to working with roasters that care so much about their product and the environment is that they tend to be some of the kindest people around - and this is certainly true with the folks at Raker 🩵
Right now, we have their Red Bourbon Honey on pour over - this one hails from Huila Colombia 🇨🇴 a honey process double fermentation w/ notes of cranberry, tangerine, papaya,, honey + citrus! Come by and try or pick up a bag for home :-)
