Losing hurts for a day, but knowing you held back haunts you for years. 💯🔥

Some days you’ll give everything you have and still fall short. You’ll study and still miss the grade. Train and still lose. Work late and still not get the result you wanted.

That’s life. Results depend on timing, luck and a hundred things outside your control. Effort is the one thing that’s always yours.

The real failure isn’t falling short. It’s knowing you held back. Regret doesn’t come from losing after giving your best. It comes from wondering what would’ve happened if you had.

And effort is never wasted. Every time you give everything, you get stronger, sharper and closer, even when the scoreboard doesn’t show it yet.

Every loss you give everything to is a down payment on the win that’s coming.

I did 3 hours of live election coverage on SiriusXM @urbanviewradio and YouTube with my partner @claycane, so I have plenty of analysis on this blue wave. But let me be petty for a moment and point out that the second biggest loser behind Donald Trump’s funky a** is Nicki Minaj. Homegirl put on her Gucci suit and messy bun to tell folks to vote MAGA, and voters said girl f*ck you. 😂😂✊🏾✊🏾 #reeciecolbertshow

A lot of people have been asking why the chef stayed employed after I told my parents what happened when I was 12.

It’s a fair question, and I wanted to share a little more context about what happened and how my parents responded at the time.

I didn’t fully understand it back then, and looking back, I think my parents may not have understood it either.

Thank you to everyone who’s been so kind and supportive ❤️
