What an incredible view from the top of Elevate85 👀 by @thehoppings

As The Hoppings 2026 comes to a close, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making this year’s event such a success.

Despite operating within a smaller footprint due to the ongoing improvement works on the Town Moor, we made it work and the response has been absolutely fantastic. We set out to ensure visitors still enjoyed the full Hoppings experience, and thanks to the incredible efforts of so many people, that’s exactly what happened.

It has been brilliant to see the reaction to Elevate85. Thousands of people took to the skies to enjoy spectacular views across Newcastle, and it quickly became one of the standout attractions of this year’s event.

The support throughout the event has also been incredible online, with The Hoppings reaching more than 7 million views across our social media channels over the 10 days. It has been amazing to see so many of you sharing your photos, videos and memories with us.

Our sincere thanks go to the showmen and showwomen who are the heart of The Hoppings, along with our fantastic food vendors, security teams, paramedics, police, contractors, entertainers and every member of the behind-the-scenes team. Your hard work, dedication and commitment are what make The Hoppings possible, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

We would also like to extend our thanks to The Freemen of Newcastle and Newcastle City Council for their continued support throughout the planning and delivery of the event.

Finally, thank you to everyone who came along over the 10 days. Seeing families and friends enjoying the rides, making memories and enjoying the atmosphere was fantastic. Your support is what keeps The Hoppings thriving year after year.

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again in 2027.

Wow! What a fabulous day we have had at The Hoppings today. The sun has shone all day and the crowds have been incredible. ❤️ by @thehoppings

We’ve heard this is one of your favourites this year ✨ by @thehoppings

It's our last weekend on the Town Moor this weekend, so let's make it special. Beat the crowds by getting down early. We open at 1pm both days.

This weekend in Feast Street USA, we have a lineup of live music in the Tipi and appearances from your favourite characters in Kidz Club.

On Saturday, between 1pm - 4pm kids can meet Bluey and their favourite fairytale Princesses, followed by live music in the Live Lounge Tipi from 5pm - 9pm.

On Sunday, we have Mickey and Minnie for our final day meeting children in Feast Street from 1pm - 4pm and live music from 4pm - 6pm. by @thehoppings

Psycho Psycho Psycho

Another ride that stud out for me @thehoppings 2026! I’ve ridden this a couple of times over the past year at The Hoppings 2025 and Hull 2025 and at Stamford earlier this year. I’ll be honest I wasn’t the biggest fan last year I found it tame compared to AtmsoFear however my ride on it at Stamford was good and my ride here was insane!

I don’t know what Alex has done but it definitely feels way better than last year and it’s definitely a close 2nd behind AtmosFear on the Loop Fighter scale for me!! Absolutely awesome machine and hope to see it again later in the year!

(AtmosFear will always be my favourite unless it’s sold to Mars, once I’m loyal to a ride that doesn’t change cough cough AtmosFear and Hollands Extreme) by @thehoppings

Join some of our little friends as they take you on a tour of The Hoppings! ✨🎠🫶 by @thehoppings
